I'm so excited today I have become a member of The Toy Society (see link on right hand side)
If you don't know about this (I'm sure you do) pop over and have a look its a fabulous idea.
You make a small toy, label it and leave it for someone to find, the label will let them know that it is a gift and they can take it home, how great is that! I am definitely going to participate so I'll keep you posted on my progress.

  1. Karen, I saw this on another blog. That was before my computer crashed and I had to buy a new one, so I no longer have the blog link. The person took photo's of her home made stuffed animal in the park where she left it and I thought it was a great idea. It would be kind of fun tracking the toys. Stop by my blog again sometime.

  3. Hi Karen, thanks for coming to my blog. I have a link for the toy society on my blog. It is fun to see who and where the toys are and if they get picked up. Come over again to my blog. http://wwwundertherose.blogspot.com

  4. I did a Toy Drop earlier this year - lots of fun and so nice to be part of spreading the joy.

  5. What a great idea! I just wonder if it would work here in the states. Do we have enough crafters that would participate. I did this once with books - gosh, I can't remember the site that tracked the books. You put a tag with a number, in each book, so who found it could log-on and report it's where-abouts. You know after awhile you forget to check and when you lose a computer, you lose some of your favorites.. ah, such is life.
    Good luck with your venture!
