Help get me out......................

I just wanted to say sorry to everyone for dropping off the face of the earth for a while....actually that's quite apt as it feels like what I have done. You see I've been in a black hole ( I blame the Hadron Collider)....Every now and again things become a bit too much for me and I opt out for a while. I still have to go to work and do all the things that are expected but my heart just isn't in anything so I apologise....... I'm sure we all get times like this in our lives when things just seem so hard and I was determined that my blog was going to be full of positive vibes but I believed I owed you an explanation. I had nothing positive to say so its better to say nothing. I loose the joy in everything I don't sew I don't read I don't do anything because my heart isn't in it.

I've always struggled between positivity and moroseness (is that a word I think it is I hope you know what I mean) sometimes those bad vibes are just too strong.

I haven't even been reading your blogs.........no don't gasp..........please I promise I'm heading on upward and I'll be back with you all soon.............anyway I've had some good news Yippee...........

but I cant tell you just yet I'll be back with a big clue soon I promise.

  1. It's good to see things are looking up for you:)
Blogging and the whole internet world are only a small part of life - it's much more important to keep up with everyday living - all this is still here waiting for you when you're ready to join in again!

  2. Hi Karen ... thanks for dropping by my blog and so pleased to hear you are coming out of your dark place and back into the sunshine again. I think the long winter had that affect on a lot of us and can't wait for the reveal on your good news x

  3. Hi hun

I know exactly where you're coming from, if you're up to blog reading there's a post about four or five down in mine about the downward spiral. When I get a low patch I just can't do blogging and I can't do anything creative either, it's like that side has to shut down as I need the energy for other things.

    Big hugs, Mel xxx

  4. That heavy, grey feeling just overcomes you doesn't it? When you said the joy goes out of everything I knew exactly how you are feeling because I'm feeling like that too at the moment! Sounds like you are coming through now though - thanks for visiting and commenting on my blog and I hope things take an upward turn soon, Take care:)

  5. I think there are loads of us all suffering in the same way... It hadn't crossed my mind about the Hedron do dah! as they say in this part of the world "theeeres yur poblum!" so don't you worry at all about dropping off.. just so long as your managing to get through the days we'll be here to give you a virtual group hug should you need it! ;D

  7. Hello Karen. I'm sorry to hear you have been in a 'not good place'. I came across your blog somehow (not even sure how, now) a few weeks ago and was amazed that I had stumbled upon someone in blog land who lives in the same town as me. Hooray, I thought, and have kept popping in since then, so i'm pleased that you are back, and hopefully getting back to a better place in yourself.

  11. Hi Karen,
So nice of you to stop by. Sorry you've not been feeling so positive about things, but glad you're on the up now.
I haven't been doing much in Blogland of late and I'm not sure why.
